Yes, it's Hootsuite, this should a PR professionals technical best friend, after their smart phone obviously! Hootsuite lets you schedule and post Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn updates and a few more. Also lets you monitor Twittervers for keywords related to your company/industry, check the popularity of the links you tweet and more. Out of all the free online PR tools in the list, Hootsuite is the one that I personally love the best. As long as you're managing one account, Hootsuite is free to use. If you're using social media to market, this is a must-have.
Everything today is about social media, even if you're not a blogger and you could not care less about blogging you're more than likely using at least Facebook or Twitter.
Obviously when running loads of different media sites, you have to constantly monitor each site and have regular updates and so forth, because this is the only way to gain and keep followers.
Hootsuite has numerous brother features to add on at a price, such as, Hootsuite Social Analytics, which obviously analysis your feeds etc. This is a free package with some added on features at a price.
Hootsuite Teams is a great feature, it allows a team of the business, to work together online, and all the team can see all the scheduled posts on your company's Facebook fan page so you won't have posts going out at the same time.
I feel Hootsuite is a management system that is highly recommended to a PR professional. With their app directory constantly growing and Pro package for a very low price, you can not go wrong.
Hootsuite also has a 30 day free trial, so you can see how easy it is to manage each of your social media sites in one area. It will let you handle so many tasks in one place that you may never need to use another tool. Until, which probably will happen, a new mega-management system takes over with even better features. But for now Hootsuite rules the roost of media management systems!
